WHO BETTER TO GIVE A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE ON IRELAND THAN A REAL LIFE ASTRONAUT?

 
 
 

Problem:

We had landed on a new brand platform for Electric Ireland ‘We’re Brighter Together’, that was all about the power and positivity that can come when we all come together. We just needed a executional idea to bring this platform to life that would have the sense of positivity, scale and ambition that we felt was part of its DNA.

Idea:

Electric Ireland, with it’s 1.1 million customers, has witnessed the power of the positivity of Ireland every day. There’s only one other person who has done that. In 2013, Colonel Chris Hadfield captured the energy of Ireland, all together, in a single image as he orbited 200 miles above us. We decided to use this moment to hold a mirror up to ourselves as a nation and underline why we believe we’re brighter together.
